New Alienware Area-51 Gaming PC Announced by Dell is a Game Changer

A few years ago, Dell acquired the well known gaming PC manufacturer, Alienware. Since then it seems that they’ve slowed down their innovation as far as designs go — that is, until now. When checking out what Alienware themselves have to say, the first thing you’ll read is “Forget everything you know.” Quite a bold statement, but very accurate in describing what this futuristic “Triad Chassis” is all about.
This totally re-imagined, redesigned powerhouse of personal computer gaming technology will not only turn heads and garner attention from it’s exquisite curves and spacey looks; it will blow your mind and stimulate every nerve of your visual senses through it’s ability to support up to 3 4K monitors. Yeah, 3 of them. The latest in visual technology that has left most people wondering what 4k can do has finally met its soul-mate.
The brains in this machine are the newly announced Intel Core i7 Extreme Edition. A whopping 8 cores, Intel’s first for desktop PC’s, is hitting the market and inside Alienware’s latest rendition of it’s iconic Area-51. Promises of performance from this behemoth Alienware is behind include the ability support either quad-GPU configurations, or house up to 3 double-wide full-length graphic cards, touting a monstrous 11520×2160 resolution capabilities. If that isn’t enough to get that drool flowing, the new Area-51 gaming computer can support up to 32 GB of 2133 DDR4 RAM. Making multitasking a breeze. Rendering high definition videos, playing the latest of games on the most pristine of graphics… All while maintaining peak performance, giving you the best quality and experience a computer can offer.

The new “Triad Chassis” design is innovative and functional in its own right. Alienware’s new Area-51 design also allows for easier access to the rear ports, making all around access much simpler for the extreme gamer. In further respect to the design, Alienware has been quoted as saying “Triad is centered on two main design principles: optimized thermal management and best-in-class ergonomics. It features an angled, easily accessible front I/O panel and hassle-free grips that make it simple to pivot your system forward to reach rear ports. Vast and open entryways on each side are designed to provide an easy way for you to perform upgrades, brainstorm new mods, or show off your rig.”
And speaking of upgrades, Frank Azor, the firm’s general manager has been quoted with saying “Using new overclocking and monitoring features in Alienware Command Centre 4.0, we’ve been able to really push the processors to the fullest extent and are seeing impressive overclocking headroom.”
When exactly we’ll be able to get our hands on this beautiful piece of technology, we don’t know. How far back will it set you in the old bank account? That’s also unknown. But I think it would be safe to say we’ll know more as the Holiday season rolls in.
