Echland has announced via Twitter that Dying Light will launch in January 27 2015, instead of February as previously planned.
The developers behind Dead Island originally pushed back Dying Light's release date, saying, "The new date ensures that we can fully realize our vision of an innovative open-world game. We won’t need to make compromises or trade-offs on any of the five platforms we’re working on. For you, it means an outstanding, original game that makes the wait more than worthwhile."
The first-person zombie survival horror finds the player scavenging for food, supplies, and weapons during the daylight to use after nightfall, when the infected population becomes more aggressive. The game will be available for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC on January 27.
